AMARAVATI, Andhra Pradesh – The Andhra Pradesh Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has filed a First Information Report (FIR) against former Director General of A.P. State Disaster Response & Fire Services and Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Crime Investigation Department (CID), N. Sanjay, for alleged corruption. The FIR alleges Mr. Sanjay manipulated tender processes for two contracts, resulting in significant financial losses to the state government.

The ACB accuses Mr. Sanjay of manipulating the tender process for the development and maintenance of the AGNI-NOC web portal and mobile application, awarding the contract to M/s Sauthrika Technologies & Infra Private Limited. The ACB alleges that ₹59,93,000 was paid to the firm prematurely, before substantial work was completed, and that 10 laptops were purchased from the same company at an exorbitant price without proper tendering.

Further allegations involve a second contract awarded to M/s Kritvyap Technologies Private Limited for conducting awareness meetings for SC/ST communities. The ACB claims this company is non-existent at the given address and did not actually perform the work, yet received ₹1,19,03,600 in government funds.

The total estimated value of properties involved or stolen is approximately ₹1,75,86,600. Mr. Sanjay faces charges under the Prevention of Corruption Act and the Indian Penal Code, including criminal breach of trust and cheating. The investigation is ongoing.
