Trichy, Tamil Nadu: An Air India Express flight bound for Sharjah has been experiencing technical difficulties, leading to an emergency situation at Trichy International Airport. The aircraft has been circling for over an hour and a half, unable to land.
The flight, carrying 141 passengers, is believed to be experiencing a problem with its tires. Ambulances have been stationed outside the airport as a precautionary measure. A medical team has also been put on standby at the Trichy Government Hospital.
The Trichy District Collector has assured that the aircraft will be landing within the next 10 minutes.
The airport remains under heightened security as the emergency situation continues.
