**Hawkins County Rescue Squad Receives Grant:** For the second consecutive year, the Hawkins County Rescue Squad has been awarded a grant from the Firehouse Subs Foundation. This generous donation will support the vital work of the rescue squad.
**Cherokee Chiefs Fall to Elizabethton Cyclones:** The Cherokee Chiefs suffered their second loss of the season, falling to the Elizabethton Cyclones 41-13 in a Region I-4A game. The Cyclones pulled away in the second quarter, scoring 21 points to build a comfortable lead. The Chiefs will travel to Northview Academy for their next game.
