ARMUR, TELANGANA – The Armur Municipal Commissioner, Raju, has urged residents to take advantage of the Layout Regularization Scheme (LRS) before the March 31, 2025 deadline. The commissioner announced the extension of the scheme, originally set for 2020, at a press conference, with flexi banners placed at prominent junctions in the town to promote awareness.
The scheme offers a 25% discount on regularization fees for plots registered under LRS in 2020. The government has extended the deadline for regularization of unauthorized layouts until March 31, 2025. Commissioner Raju clarified that even plots in unauthorized layouts that haven’t been registered can be regularized by registering them at the Sub-Registrar office and paying the LRS fee. He highlighted that while 10% of plots in such layouts have already been registered, the remaining plots have the opportunity to be legalized.
