**Bengaluru, February 12, 2025** – Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), the manufacturer of the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas, has assured the Indian Air Force (IAF) of swift deliveries following concerns raised by Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh over delays. HAL Chairman and Managing Director D.K. Sunil attributed the delays to resolved technical issues, stating that the concerns are understood and that the company is working to deliver the aircraft once engine availability is secured. This assurance comes after reports surfaced of the Air Chief’s concerns regarding delivery timelines. Mr. Sunil confirmed that meetings have been held at various levels to address the situation and that HAL is committed to fulfilling its obligations to the IAF. The statement was made at the Aero India 2025 event in Bengaluru, where a Tejas aircraft performed a flight demonstration.
