Mon Feb 03 23:20:00 UTC 2025: ## SpaceX Delays Starlink Launch to Tuesday

**Cape Canaveral, FL** – SpaceX has postponed the launch of its Starlink 12-3 mission to Tuesday, January 30th, at 3:37 a.m. EST (0837 UTC). The launch, originally scheduled for Monday, will utilize a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This will mark SpaceX’s 230th orbital launch from that specific pad.

The mission will deploy 21 Starlink satellites, 13 of which boast Direct to Cell capabilities. SpaceX will employ the previously-flown booster 1069, marking its 21st launch. This veteran booster has supported missions including CRS-24, Eutelsat Hotbird-F1, and 16 previous Starlink deployments. A landing attempt on the droneship “Just Read the Instructions” is planned approximately eight minutes after liftoff, which would be the 108th landing on that vessel and the 404th overall for SpaceX.

Spaceflight Now will provide live coverage beginning an hour before launch. The delay comes after a successful launch of 10 Iridium communications satellites from Vandenberg Air Force Base on Friday. This week, Spaceflight Now’s News from the Press Site features discussions about the ongoing space activity, including continued International Space Station operations.
