**Bengaluru, [Date]** – Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot today launched a Braille-enabled version of the Indian Constitution, commemorating the 75th anniversary of its adoption. The initiative, a collaboration between the Governor’s office, Sankara Eye Hospital Bengaluru, and CII Young Indians (Yi) Bengaluru, aims to empower visually impaired citizens by providing them access to the fundamental rights and responsibilities enshrined within the document.

Dr. Kaushik Murali, President of Medical Administration, Quality & Education at Sankara Eye Foundation India, stated that the project will ensure that those with visual impairments can fully understand their civic duties and rights. The Braille version will be distributed to key institutions across the state to maximize accessibility.

Darshan Mutha, National Chair of Accessibility at CII Young Indians, emphasized the project’s role in promoting inclusivity and creating a more accessible society for all. The launch marks a significant step towards ensuring equal access to information and civic participation for visually impaired individuals in Karnataka.
