**New Delhi, India –** Tata Motors made a splash at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 today, showcasing a range of vehicles highlighting its commitment to both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) technologies. The star of the show was the unveiling of the Tata Sierra ICE, a revival of the iconic 1990s model, featuring design cues reminiscent of its predecessor. While specifications remained undisclosed, Tata Motors hinted at a future launch of the Sierra EV in 2025, alongside the much-anticipated electric version of the Harrier. The Harrier EV, shown at the expo, appeared largely similar in design to its ICE counterpart.
Further fueling excitement for the future of EV adoption in India, Tata Motors also presented a concept version of the Avinya X. Details on this model were also scant.
Beyond passenger vehicles, Tata Motors’ commercial vehicle division showcased a comprehensive lineup of sustainable mobility solutions, including 11 cargo carriers, three passenger carriers, and four advanced aggregates. This impressive display included new models such as the Ace Pro with a new platform and several electric commercial vehicles.
Tata Sons Executive Chairman N Chandrasekaran emphasized the company’s eight-decade legacy of innovation and its unwavering commitment to sustainable mobility. He highlighted the growing global demand for zero-emission vehicles and Tata Motors’ leading role in this transition within the Indian market. He stressed the company’s dedication to providing customers with a diverse range of clean and green mobility options for both personal and commercial use.
