**SHIMOGGA, January 18, 2025** – Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot will preside over the convocations of two prominent universities in the state on January 22nd. The 34th convocation of Kuvempu University will be held at its Jnana Sahyadri Campus in Shankarghatta at 10:30 a.m., with Higher Education Minister M.C. Sudhakar in attendance. Former Vice-Chancellor of Hyderabad University, Prof. Ram Ramaswamy, will be the chief guest.

Later that day, at 2:00 p.m., Governor Gehlot will also grace the ninth convocation of Keladi Shivappa Nayaka University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences at its Iruvakki campus in Sagar taluk. He will be joined by Agriculture Minister N. Cheluvarayaswamy. Prof. L.S. Shashidhara, Director of the National Centre for Biological Sciences, will serve as the chief guest for this ceremony.
