**Vijayawada, January 17, 2025** – Andhra Pradesh IT and Electronics and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh will lead a delegation to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, from January 20-24. The Minister aims to attract significant foreign investment, particularly in renewable energy, during the five-day summit.
Mr. Lokesh’s schedule includes meetings with over 50 ambassadors and industrialists, and one-on-one discussions with 30 global leaders at the Andhra Pradesh pavilion. He will also participate in the Education Governors’ meeting and attend sessions on artificial intelligence, sustainable energy, and gender equality.
Key meetings include discussions with NVIDIA executives regarding the establishment of next-generation AI data centers and an AI university in Andhra Pradesh, and collaborations with Google on leveraging AI for good governance. The Minister will also attend a Confederation of Indian Industry program focused on strengthening India-Denmark green partnerships. The state government expects this high-profile presence to yield substantial investment commitments.
