**Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh –** Three men died and two others were critically injured in a road accident near Palakurti village in Kurnool district on Friday. The accident occurred when a lorry suffered a tyre burst on the national highway, causing it to collide with a car.

The victims, identified as Banda Srinivas, Somasekhar, and Srinu, all residents of Kodumuru town, were returning from Kurnool after conducting business related to silk saris. One person died at the scene, while two others succumbed to their injuries at a local hospital. The two injured passengers are receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident, with preliminary findings suggesting the lorry’s tyre burst as the cause of the collision. A case has been registered.
