HYDERABAD, INDIA – Sidhu, a popular actor known for his role in the Zee Telugu serial “Padamati Sandhyaragam” (which recently completed 743 episodes), has joined the cast of Star Maa’s serial, “Malli.” While details of his role are yet to be revealed, his entry comes at a time when “Malli,” which shifted its broadcast time from primetime to midday in October 2024, has seen a decline in its TRP ratings, currently standing at 3.28. The serial’s producers hope Sidhu’s addition will boost viewership. The change in broadcast time from 9 PM to 12:30 PM, along with the introduction of “Gunde Ninda Gudi Gantalu” in the same timeslot, is speculated to have impacted “Malli”‘s ratings. The noticeable difference between Sidhu’s real-life and on-screen appearances has also generated buzz among fans.
