**Indiana, PA, January 17, 2025** – Numerous schools in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, experienced closures or delays on Friday, January 17th, 2025, due to inclement weather. The Armstrong and River Valley School Districts were completely closed. A two-hour delay was announced for the Apollo-Ridge, Homer-Center, Indiana Area, Marion Center, Penns Manor, Purchase Line School Districts, and the Indiana County Technology Center. In addition, morning classes were canceled at Little Seedlings Homer City, Little Sprouts Homer City, Little Seedlings South Buffalo, and Little Sprouts South Buffalo.

The Red Cross issued a separate appeal for blood donations, highlighting several upcoming blood drives in the area. The organization did not specify if the blood drive scheduling was related to the school closures.
