**KOCHI, January 17, 2025** – K. Aravindakshan’s novel, “Gopa,” has been awarded the prestigious 2024 Odakkuzhal Award, announced the Guruvayoorappan Trust today. The award, which includes a ₹30,000 cash prize and a citation, will be presented to Aravindakshan on February 2, 2025, at a ceremony in the Mahakavi G. Auditorium. Samastha Kerala Sahitya Parishad president and writer C. Radhakrishnan will present the award. The Odakkuzhal Award is a significant recognition in Malayalam literature.
