Flight 6E 6011, carrying 165 passengers, departed at approximately 3:50 p.m. but returned to Chennai airport after being airborne for about 50 minutes.
IndiGo confirmed the incident in a statement, attributing the return to “technical reasons.” The airline arranged an alternative aircraft, and passengers were provided refreshments while waiting. The passengers finally departed for Guwahati around 6:30 p.m. on the replacement aircraft. IndiGo apologized for the inconvenience caused by the delay.
