**Hyderabad, January 17, 2025** – Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has challenged Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to a public debate and lie detector test following a seven-hour interrogation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday. KTR, who appeared before the ED regarding the Formula-E race and Vote for Note cases, maintained his innocence and reiterated his full cooperation with the investigation.
KTR stated that he provided the ED and Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) with comprehensive answers demonstrating the transparency of all financial transactions. He emphasized that funds for the Formula-E race were transferred directly to organizers, without any intermediaries or misappropriation. To support his claims, he submitted a Nielsen report highlighting an $82 million economic benefit to Telangana from the event, as well as a copy of the Telangana Electric Vehicle Policy – 2020.
Despite the extensive questioning, KTR expressed unwavering faith in the judiciary and challenged Mr. Reddy to a live debate, inviting public scrutiny to prove their respective innocence. He asserted that both should face questions directly from the public and judiciary.
