**Mangaluru, January 12, 2025** – Mangaluru police have arrested a 42-year-old man, P.K. Shameer, from Kozhikode, Kerala, for allegedly trafficking narcotics from Goa to Mangaluru and Kerala. In a raid near Bappanadu Durgaparameshwari temple, police seized 738 grams of hydro weed with an estimated street value of ₹73 lakh, a car, and a mobile phone. Initial investigations suggest Shameer procured the drugs internationally. The arrest follows a tip-off to the Central Crime Branch.
