**Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh – January 5, 2025** – The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is preparing for a large-scale influx of devotees for the annual Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam at the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala. The ten-day event, commencing January 10th, will see the implementation of extensive arrangements to ensure a smooth and peaceful experience for visitors.
TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, after reviewing preparations with municipal and police officials, announced the issuance of 1.2 lakh tokens at various locations in Tirupati and Tirumala starting January 9th for darshan on January 10th, 11th, and 12th. Tokens will be distributed in advance only for those three days. From January 13th to 19th, tokens will be issued on a daily basis, one day in advance. Comprehensive facilities, including queue lines, barricades, sheds, security, drinking water, and toilets, will be provided at Tirumala for devotee convenience.
Furthermore, the TTD is constructing a model temple of Lord Balaji at the Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, from January 13th to February 26th. This replica temple will host daily rituals mirroring those performed at the Tirumala temple, allowing devotees attending the Mela to participate in the festivities. Mr. Naidu urged devotees to exercise patience and cooperation during the Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam.
