**Mumbai, January 9, 2025** – Mumbai residents can expect a gradual increase in both day and night temperatures over the next two days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The recent dip in temperatures, attributed to a western disturbance, is ending as wind patterns shift to predominantly northerly winds.
Sunil Kamble, Director of the IMD, Maharashtra, stated that the minimum temperature, which was 17 degrees Celsius today, will rise to 19 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is predicted to reach 32 degrees Celsius within 48 hours. He confirmed that the cooler weather experienced recently will not continue. The shift is solely due to the change in wind direction.
