**Belagavi, Karnataka, January 8, 2025** – Lokayukta teams conducted searches today at the office and residences of Prakash Gaekwad, a tahsildar (revenue officer) in Khanapur I, Belagavi district, Karnataka. The raids, which targeted Gaekwad’s office in Khanapur and his homes in Ganeshpur and Nippani (both in Belagavi district), are part of a corruption investigation.
