**NEW DELHI** – Dense fog blanketing Delhi has prompted Delhi Airport authorities to issue a warning to passengers about potential flight disruptions. Visibility plummeted to 100 meters early Wednesday morning, impacting flights not equipped with CAT III landing systems.

While the airport remains operational, authorities announced on X (formerly Twitter) that non-CAT III compliant aircraft may experience delays or cancellations. Passengers are urged to contact their respective airlines for the most up-to-date flight information. Indigo airlines also issued a similar advisory, recommending passengers allow extra travel time to the airport.

The advisory comes after a period of moderate rainfall and a severe cold wave that has exacerbated the fog. A similar advisory was issued on December 19th. Although low visibility procedures are in place, airport officials maintain that flight operations are currently unaffected. However, passengers are strongly advised to check their flight status before heading to the airport.
