According to Deputy Police Commissioner (Central Zone), Hyderabad City, a request for police deployment on December 4th and 5th – the release date of *Pushpa 2* – was submitted by Sandhya Cine Enterprises. While the police receive numerous such requests, they are not always able to fulfill them. The police emphasized that the organizers failed to follow proper protocol by not directly contacting a senior police officer to discuss security arrangements.

Police deny allegations of misconduct during Allu Arjun’s arrest. They state that upon arriving at his residence, the actor was given time to change clothes and was treated respectfully throughout the process. No force was used during his apprehension, and he was allowed to contact his family.

The police contend that the situation escalated after Allu Arjun’s arrival at the theater. They allege that his actions, including waving to fans from his car’s sunroof, incited the crowd, leading to a surge of people toward the theater’s main gate. Subsequent pushing and shoving by the actor’s security personnel, in an attempt to clear a path for his vehicle, further contributed to the chaos. This resulted in the death of a woman in the crowd. Police state that the security detail should have kept the actor inside the vehicle to prevent this escalation.

The police maintain that the crowd was initially under control until the actor’s actions and the subsequent actions of his security team caused the uncontrolled surge. The police’s statement aims to justify the arrest and refute claims of ill-treatment during the actor’s detention.
