Fri Nov 15 23:55:04 UTC 2024: ## Bihar Public Service Commission Revises Teacher Recruitment Details

**Patna, [Date]** – The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released updated vacancy details for its Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE) 3.0. The revised figures, available on the BPSC website (www.bpsc.bih.nic.in), reflect a total of 84,581 positions, a decrease of 3,193 from the initially announced 87,774. This follows the government’s release of a revised roster after the Chhath Puja holiday.

The updated breakdown shows 25,505 vacancies for primary school teachers (classes 1-5) and 18,973 for upper primary school teachers (classes 6-8). There are also 210 positions for class 1-5 teachers and 126 for class 6-10 teachers under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department.

The revision incorporates a 50% reservation roster, following a court decision to overturn the previously announced 65% reservation policy. The initial TRE 3.0 advertisement was based on the 65% reservation, but the court ruling led to the government reverting to the 50% policy.

The BPSC is preparing to release the results for TRE 3.0, along with several other examinations, in November and December. This includes the final results for the 69th examination (interviews already completed), agricultural officer positions, and judicial service examinations. The TRE 3.0 results are expected to be the largest announcement.
