**Patna, India (October 31, 2024):** The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) held a meeting with teachers preparing for upcoming exams on Wednesday. The meeting, attended by over a dozen teachers from Patna, addressed concerns regarding the upcoming 70th Combined Competitive Examination.
BPSC Chairman, Ravi Manu Bhai Parmar, assured the teachers that the upcoming exam would utilize normalization and percentile methods, dispelling misconceptions surrounding the process. He urged teachers to educate students about these changes.
Regarding the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE) 3 results, the Chairman clarified that the results are ready but will be released only after document verification. This measure, he explained, is to ensure accuracy and avoid errors.
During the meeting, teachers also raised concerns about the “One Candidate, One Result” policy and the implementation of domicile rules in the exam. While the Chairman acknowledged these concerns, he stated that these are policy matters under the jurisdiction of the government. Teachers expressed their intent to continue advocating for these changes.
The meeting also discussed the format of the exam question papers, with the Chairman clarifying that there will be only 2-3 different sets of papers, contradicting rumors of 10 different sets.
The BPSC Chairman further emphasized the commission’s commitment to transparency and encouraged teachers to reach out with any concerns. He also announced a public meeting on November 15th at Gyan Bhavan, where the BPSC will engage with both teachers and students, explaining the changes in the exam process and addressing any queries.
