Fri Nov 01 17:30:00 UTC 2024: ## Pennsylvania Counties Investigate Voter Registration Applications Linked to Arizona Company

**Pennsylvania, October 31, 2024:** Two Pennsylvania counties, Monroe and York, are investigating thousands of last-minute voter registration applications submitted by Field+Media Corps, an Arizona-based company. The applications are flagged as potentially fraudulent due to irregularities and incomplete information.

The company, run by Mesa Councilman Francisco Heredia, has a history of conducting voter registration drives in Arizona, where it has also faced scrutiny for questionable practices. Both Navajo and Mohave counties in Arizona previously sent forms submitted by Field+Media Corps to the Attorney General’s Office for investigation.

In Pennsylvania, Monroe County District Attorney Mike Mancuso stated that some applications were “fraudulent” and in at least one case, the applicant was deceased. York County Chief Clerk Greg Monskie confirmed that Field+Media Corps submitted the forms on behalf of the Everybody Votes campaign, a national nonprofit voter registration organization.

Field+Media Corps maintains they have not been contacted by officials in Pennsylvania regarding the investigations and that they are cooperating fully. Heredia stated the company trains workers to fill out forms accurately and has a zero-tolerance policy for fraudulent submissions.

The Pennsylvania Department of State emphasized that the flagged applications are for voter registration only and have not been processed. They also highlighted the safeguards built into the election system that identified the irregularities.

Meanwhile, Lancaster County is also investigating 2,500 voter registration applications, but has not identified the submitting party. District Attorney Heather Adams has described “hundreds” of the applications as fraudulent.

Former President Donald Trump falsely claimed on social media that fake ballots were found in Pennsylvania. Election experts clarified that the flagged applications are a sign of the system working and do not involve ballots themselves.

The investigations in Pennsylvania are ongoing as the state prepares for the 2024 presidential election.
