**New Delhi:** The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a second change to the CTET December 2024 examination date. The exam, initially scheduled for December 1st and then postponed to December 15th, will now be held on **December 14th, 2024 (Saturday)**.

The decision comes after numerous candidates expressed concerns about the clash with other competitive exams scheduled on December 15th in various states and union territories.

“Keeping in view the interest of the candidates, it has been decided to conduct the CTET examination on 14th December 2024,” stated the official notice.

However, the board has also clarified that if the number of applicants in a particular city is high, the exam may also be held on December 15th.

Candidates can find the latest updates and revised exam date on the official CBSE CTET website, ctet.nic.in.

**Registration for the CTET December 2024 exam is still ongoing and will close on October 16th, 2024.**

The exam fee for general/OBC candidates is ₹1000/- for only Paper I or II and ₹1200/- for both. For SC/ST/PWD candidates, the fee is ₹500/- for one paper and ₹600/- for both. Payments can be made online via debit card, credit card, or net banking.
