**Hyderabad, India:** Former Indian women’s cricketer Neetu David has been inducted into the prestigious ICC Hall of Fame, the International Cricket Council announced on Wednesday. She joins South African legend AB de Villiers and English batting stalwart Alastair Cook in the latest class of inductees.

David, a left-arm spinner, represented India between 1995 and 2008. She played 97 ODIs and 10 Tests, claiming 141 wickets in the former and 41 in the latter. David holds the distinction of being the first Indian woman to take 100 wickets in ODIs. She currently serves as the chairperson of the women’s selection committee.

De Villiers, a versatile batsman, played 114 Tests, 228 ODIs, and 78 T20Is for South Africa. He amassed over 8,765 Test runs, 9,577 ODI runs, and 1,672 T20I runs, making him one of the most successful batsmen of his generation. He also played a key role as wicketkeeper in all three formats, taking 463 dismissals including 17 stumpings.

Cook, a consistent opening batsman, represented England from 2006 to 2018. He played 161 Tests, 92 ODIs, and 4 T20Is, scoring over 12,472 runs in Tests, 3,204 runs in ODIs, and 61 runs in T20Is. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest English batsmen of all time.

The ICC Hall of Fame recognizes the outstanding achievements of cricketers who have made significant contributions to the game. Last year, the Hall of Fame welcomed former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag, former Indian women’s cricketer Diana Edulji, and Sri Lankan legend Aravinda de Silva.
