Dubai: Former Indian women’s cricketer Neetu David has been inducted into the prestigious ICC Hall of Fame. She joins England legend Alistair Cook and South African great AB de Villiers, who were also announced as new inductees by the ICC.
David, who represented India from 1995 to 2008, becomes the second Indian woman cricketer to be included in the Hall of Fame, following Diana Edulji who was inducted in 2023.
David played 10 Tests and 97 ODIs for India, claiming a total of 182 wickets. Notably, she was the first woman cricketer to achieve the milestone of 100 ODI wickets for India.
