**Colombo, Sri Lanka:** Sri Lanka Cricket has announced a 17-man squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against the West Indies, with several notable changes from the team that faced India.
**Captain Charith Asalanka** leads the side, but the squad will be without former captain Dasun Shanaka, who has been omitted. The absence of Shanaka opens the door for **Chamith Wickramasinghe**, who impressed on his debut against India, to retain his place.
The squad also sees the return of **Bhanuka Rajapaksa**, who last featured for Sri Lanka in January. **Jeffrey Vandersay**, who was only included in the ODI squad, has been selected for the T20I series.
**Dinesh Chandimal, Avishka Fernando, Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis, Wanindu Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana, Kamindu Mendis**, and **Dunith Wellalage** all retain their places from the India series.
The squad also welcomes back **Matheesha Pathirana** and **Nuwan Thushara** from injury, while **Dilshan Madushanka, Dushmantha Chameera**, and **Ramesh Mendis** have been left out.
The T20I series is set to take place at the **R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium** in Colombo on the **13th, 15th, and 17th of March**.
