**Kozhikode, October 8, 2024:** Actress Prayaga Martin has vehemently denied rumors linking her to notorious gang leader Om Prakash. These rumors surfaced after speculation that she visited him at a hotel in Kozhikode.
“I have never met Om Prakash, directly or indirectly. I was at the hotel with friends, visiting their friends. I don’t need to know their names or backgrounds. I never saw or spoke to Om Prakash,” Prayaga clarified in a statement to Manorama Online.
She further explained that she was in Kozhikode for a function and had to leave for another event in the morning. She left the hotel at 7 am and was in Kozhikode for a function by 8:30 am.
Prayaga expressed her disappointment with the spread of false information, stating that she won’t let such baseless allegations go unchallenged. She emphasized that she lives her life on her own terms and doesn’t pay heed to irrelevant opinions.
“This is my life, and I choose to live it the way I want. I will not be silent when false information is circulated about me,” she stated.
The actress has confirmed that she has not been contacted by the police regarding the matter and is open to cooperating with them if they choose to investigate.
Prayaga’s denial comes as a strong response to the rumors that have been circulating on social media. She has asserted her innocence and expressed her determination to clear her name.
