Fri Sep 20 07:59:48 UTC 2024: ## OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Review: Big Battery, But Sound Quality Falls Short

OnePlus has launched its latest budget TWS earphones, the Nord Buds 3, priced at ₹2,299 in India. While these earbuds share a similar design to the Pro model, they lack some of the advanced features, including superior sound quality and noise cancellation.

The Nord Buds 3 feature a comfortable in-ear design with silicone tips and a touch control area on the stem. The charging case is lightweight and boasts a USB Type-C port. With a 58mAh battery in each earbud and a 440mAh battery in the case, the earbuds offer a claimed battery life of up to 43 hours. This impressive battery life is one of the Nord Buds 3’s strongest points.

However, the sound quality is a major point of contention. The earbuds suffer from an overemphasis on bass, leaving the overall sound unbalanced and lacking detail, especially in the higher frequencies. While the Hey Melody app allows for EQ customization, the results are still far from perfect.

Similarly, the ANC feature proves ineffective, barely managing to muffle indoor disturbances. The transparency mode, intended for increased awareness, also falls short.

Despite the shortcomings, the Nord Buds 3 have some redeeming qualities. They offer dual device connectivity, Google Fast Pair, and comfortable fit. The IP55 rating provides dust and splash resistance for the earbuds themselves.

**Verdict:**

The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 are a budget-friendly option with an exceptional battery life and comfortable fit. However, the lackluster sound quality and ineffective ANC might disappoint audiophiles. If you prioritize budget and long battery life, the Nord Buds 3 are a decent option. However, those looking for a better audio experience might want to consider the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro, despite the higher price point.
