**Ocala, FL** – Headley Quarter Horses, a family-run breeding operation known for its dedication to quality, is celebrating the success of its breeding program with the arrival of Rumerz Voodoo, a 2019 chestnut AQHA mare. Affectionately known as “Mera,” the mare was raised by Steve, Kathy, and Sarah Headley, and her name was chosen by grandson Cole, who was deeply into Aquaman at the time of her birth.
Mera’s lineage boasts a strong history within the Headley Quarter Horses program, with her mother, Exquisite Secret (Scarlet), and grandmother, Sheza Hot Touch, also being raised by the family. This particular cross previously produced Exquisite Rumerz, known as “Bonnie,” who has achieved significant success in the show ring, winning a World Championship and a Congress Championship in Open Performance Halter Mares.
Both Mera and Bonnie are described as “super sweet, pretty, and in your pocket,” highlighting the Headleys’ commitment to raising not only beautiful horses, but also those with excellent temperaments.
