Fri Sep 20 11:40:04 UTC 2024: ## Alaska Energy Metals Completes Exploration Work at Angliers-Belleterre Project in Quebec

**VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 20, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE)** – Alaska Energy Metals Corporation (TSX-V: AEMC, OTCQB: AKEMF) has successfully completed a comprehensive exploration program at its 100% owned Angliers-Belleterre project in Quebec, Canada. The program included a helicopter-borne Versatile Time Domain Electromagnetic (VTEM) Max survey, a large soil geochemical survey, prospecting, and rock sampling.

The exploration work, funded by a flow-through financing completed in December 2023, aimed to identify promising targets for valuable metallic mineralization, particularly nickel-copper deposits. The VTEM survey, conducted by Geotech Ltd., covered 1,568 line-kilometers, while the soil sampling program, carried out by Breakaway Exploration Management, encompassed 4,971 samples.

The VTEM survey is designed to detect conductive anomalies that may indicate metallic sulfide mineralization. The soil sampling program aimed to identify metal ions reflecting the presence of valuable metallic mineral deposits in the underlying bedrock. Coincident electromagnetic and soil anomalies will be key indicators for future drill testing.

“We are pleased that Geotech and Breakaway have successfully completed these modern geophysical and geochemical surveys at our Angliers project,” commented Gabe Graf, Chief Geoscientist of Alaska Energy Metals. “We are eagerly awaiting the survey results, which will be combined with planned geological mapping to identify multiple drill targets for testing in 2025.”

The results of the soil survey and VTEM survey are expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2024. Alaska Energy Metals is focused on responsibly developing its projects to become a significant domestic source of strategic energy-related metals for North America.
