Kelowna RCMP have confirmed that the pedestrian struck in an intersection on Thursday, Sept. 12, is still alive. The incident occurred at the intersection of Harvey Avenue and Burtch Road just after 12 p.m. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries and remains under medical care.
The RCMP and BC Highway Patrol closed Burtch Road between Harvey Avenue and Sutherland Avenue for several hours while investigating the scene.
