Tue Sep 10 13:37:00 UTC 2024: ## Clean Eatz Foundation Tackles Childhood Obesity with New Initiatives

**WILMINGTON, N.C. – September 10, 2024** – The Clean Eatz Foundation, the charitable arm of the popular health food franchise, is launching new initiatives to combat childhood obesity, aiming to bring America’s youth into the “clean eating” conversation.

The foundation, known for its commitment to promoting healthy eating habits, has already made significant strides. Last year, they raised $45,000 at their annual franchise conference, which funded summer camp fees for 10 children through a partnership with Camp Pocono Trails. This month marks the second annual “Go Bananaz” smoothie campaign, where a portion of sales from a special smoothie will be donated to the foundation. In 2025, the foundation plans to help pay for college tuition for five students pursuing careers in health and wellness.

“America’s youth have been largely left out of the conversation about nutrition and obesity,” says Evonne Varady, co-founder of Clean Eatz. “These initiatives are changing that, and I’m hopeful for a healthier future.”

The foundation’s growing success and impact are driving its continued expansion, with new initiatives on the horizon. As the Clean Eatz franchise continues to expand its presence nationwide, its commitment to tackling childhood obesity is expected to grow alongside it.

**Clean Eatz** was founded in 2011 by Don and Evonne Varady, offering chef-inspired, nutritionist-approved meals, dine-in, grab-n-go, catering, and weekly online meal plans. With 94 locations operational and 87 under development, the brand is quickly becoming a nationwide staple for health-conscious eaters.
