– Ghosh was accused of embezzlement, trafficking of biomedical waste, nepotism, and violation of procurement laws
– The CBI filed an FIR against Ghosh and others under criminal conspiracy and fraud
– The father of the rape-murder victim expressed relief at Ghosh’s arrest
