Sun Dec 14 22:40:00 UTC 2025: Indianapolis Colts’ Josh Downs Expected to Play Against Seahawks, But Fantasy Outlook Remains Cloudy

Seattle, WA – The Indianapolis Colts are set to face the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15, and rookie wide receiver Josh Downs is expected to be in the lineup. Downs is not listed on the team’s injury report, clearing the way for him to play.

However, fantasy football managers should temper their expectations, according to projections from the Pro Football Sports Network (PFSN). Downs is projected to score 9.2 fantasy points in PPR formats, with an estimated four receptions for 42 yards and a minimal chance of a touchdown.

“Things are ugly in Indy right now, and I’d rather not have any of their receivers dictating my fantasy fate if at all possible,” analyst CBB said.

Downs has struggled to produce consistently this season, failing to reach 60 receiving yards in any game and currently mired in another touchdown drought. While the season-ending injury to quarterback Daniel Jones presents an opportunity for a change in the Colts’ passing game, there is no guarantee that the passing game will improve.

The Colts are expected to lean heavily on running the ball and feature Michael Pittman Jr. prominently in the passing game. This offensive approach leaves limited opportunities for other receivers like Downs to make a significant impact.

Game-time weather conditions are expected to be favorable, with a kickoff temperature of 54 degrees Fahrenheit and minimal wind.

Fantasy football managers seeking further advice on player starts and sits should consult PFSN’s Fantasy Start/Sit Optimizer for the latest projections and analysis.
