Youngstown State Penguins to Host Yale in FCS Playoff Showdown This Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN, OH – November 27, 2025 – Stambaugh Stadium will be buzzing with excitement this Saturday as the Youngstown State University (YSU) Penguins football team welcomes Yale for a highly anticipated FCS playoff game. Kickoff is slated for Noon.

The Penguins are hosting a playoff game for the second time in three years, promising a thrilling matchup for fans. Tailgating festivities will kick off bright and early at 8 a.m. in the M-70 (Gault Heating and Cooling) and M-81 (Youngstown Tile Retail Design Center) lots, where beer will be available for purchase. Handicap parking will be available in the M-60 Lot, with a convenient golf-cart shuttle service to the South concourse elevator.

Fans can gear up for the game at the YSU Bookstore, open from 8 a.m. to noon, and find official NCAA merchandise inside the stadium. Tickets are available on gameday for $20 for reserved seats. Student tickets may still be available for free thanks to PNC Bank and the YSU President’s Office, or can be purchased for $10.
