Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Promises a Fresh Start and a Vigilante Army
Hell’s Kitchen is about to get a whole lot more interesting as “Daredevil: Born Again” gears up for its second season on Disney+. After a creatively tumultuous first season, the series is reportedly embracing a new direction, offering a “liberating” landscape for the story to unfold.
According to producer Sana Amanat in an exclusive interview with Empire Magazine, Season 2 will see Matt Murdock, still recovering from a gunshot wound, building a vigilante army to combat the escalating threat of Wilson Fisk, now the Mayor of New York City. Fisk’s “Safer Streets Initiative” is cracking down on masked crusaders, placing Daredevil and his allies squarely in the crosshairs.
“What does it mean for Fisk when he’s gotten everything he wants?” Amanat teases, hinting at a potential unraveling of Kingpin’s ambition.
Adding to the intrigue, Krysten Ritter is set to reprise her role as Jessica Jones, though not necessarily as a willing team player. “[Jones] isn’t necessarily a team-up kind of person,” Amanat explains, suggesting a personal connection to the conflict. “She brings edginess and lightness — Daredevil can be very dark and dramatic, and she cuts through the BS in a really fun way.”
With a clear narrative focus and the return of familiar faces, “Daredevil: Born Again” Season 2 is shaping up to be a must-watch for Marvel fans.
“Daredevil: Born Again” Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in March 2026.
