Tirumala Temple to Streamline Darshan, Announce Vaikunta Ekadasi Ticket Release Soon

Tirumala, India – November 7, 2025 – The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) announced today plans to streamline darshan formats and ensure a hassle-free experience for pilgrims visiting the Tirumala temple. TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal stated that a special committee has been formed to oversee these improvements.

A key announcement was the upcoming release of tickets for the Vaikunta Ekadasi Dwara Darshan, a 10-day festival celebrated from December 30th to January 8th. Mr. Singhal assured devotees that the exact schedule for the ticket release, both online and offline, would be announced soon. He emphasized the TTD’s commitment to a transparent and seamless process for token issuance.

During the monthly “Dial Your EO” program, Mr. Singhal addressed concerns regarding advance booking timelines and ticket issuance timings. He clarified that decisions are based on pilgrim feedback and reiterated that over 70% of darshan slots are allocated to common devotees.

In a pilgrim-friendly move, the TTD announced that online tokens for ‘Anga Pradakshinam’ will be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting in February. The current “lucky dip” system for these tokens will be discontinued.

Mr. Singhal also assured that updates regarding the pending 2023 job notification would be released soon.
