Metro Offers Easy Access to Dodgers Victory Parade
LOS ANGELES, CA – Following their historic second consecutive World Series victory, the Los Angeles Dodgers will be honored with a celebratory parade in downtown Los Angeles on Monday at 11 a.m. Metro is providing convenient access to the parade route and the ticketed event at Dodger Stadium.
Parade Access:
- Ride Metro to one of seven stations near the parade route:
- B/D Line: Civic Center/Grand Park, Pershing Square, 7th/Metro Center
- A/E Line: Little Tokyo/Arts District, Historic Broadway, Grand Ave Arts/Bunker Hill, 7th/Metro Center
- Use trip planning tools like Google Maps, Apple Maps, the Transit app, Moovit, or metro.net.
Dodger Stadium Express:
- The Dodger Stadium Express will run from both the South Bay and Union Station beginning at 8:30 a.m. Monday.
- Riders must have an event ticket to use the free Dodger Stadium Express.
Metrolink:
- Additional Metrolink service will be available on the Antelope Valley, Orange County, and San Bernardino lines to Union Station.
- A valid Metrolink ticket, including the $15 SoCal Day Pass, allows free Metro rides.
Fares and Payment:
- Regular Metro fare is $1.75 per ride or $3.50 round-trip.
- Two children, ages 6 and under, ride free with each paying adult.
- Use a digital TAP card on your smartphone or a plastic TAP card.
- Purchase fare in advance to avoid lines.
Bus Detours:
- Many downtown L.A. bus lines will be detoured from 3 a.m. until 4 a.m.
- Check metro.net for detour information.
- Metro Rail is recommended instead of bus service to DTLA Monday morning.
Safety and Security:
- Look for Metro Ambassadors in gray jackets and bright green shirts for assistance.
- Report issues to the public safety team at 888.950.7233 or via the Transit Watch app.
- In an emergency, call 911.
