Spencer, the CEO of fintech company DocuScan, succeeds Tony Carter, who served as chairman for the past eight years. The announcement was made at the FBAA National Industry Conference 2025, currently underway on the Gold Coast.

Spencer has been a member of the FBAA board since 2023 and brings over two decades of experience in the finance industry, with a particular focus on mortgages and lending. In his acceptance speech, Spencer thanked Carter for his leadership during a period marked by the COVID-19 pandemic.
