**Pitt to Honor Antonio Bryant During Boston College Game**
**PITTSBURGH, PA – September 29, 2025** – The University of Pittsburgh football program will honor former star wide receiver Antonio Bryant during their upcoming game against Boston College at Acrisure Stadium. The recognition will take place on Saturday, October 4th, at the noon ET kickoff, which will be nationally televised on the ACC Network.
Bryant, a consensus All-American and Biletnikoff Award winner in 2000, will be celebrated for his outstanding contributions to the Panthers. His stellar sophomore season saw him haul in 68 receptions for 1,302 yards and 11 touchdowns, earning him BIG EAST Co-Offensive Player of the Year honors and setting a new conference single-season record for receiving yards.
A three-year letterman (1999-2001) and two-time First-Team All-BIG EAST selection, Bryant’s performance helped revitalize Pitt’s national standing. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2002 NFL Draft and enjoyed an eight-year professional career with the Cowboys, Browns, 49ers, and Buccaneers, amassing 5,685 receiving yards and 30 touchdowns. The university encourages fans to attend the game and participate in honoring one of Pitt’s all-time greats.
