**Visakhapatnam, India – June 21, 2025** – The Eastern Naval Command (ENC) is hosting Yogandhra-2025 today, a massive yoga event involving over 11,000 personnel and their families. The event is taking place along a 30-kilometer stretch of RK Beach in Visakhapatnam, with participants occupying 10 designated enclosures.
Mirroring the on-land activities, yoga sessions are also being held on board Indian Naval Ships anchored off the coast, reinforcing the theme of “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.”
Throughout the day, yoga protocols will be conducted at various locations, including ships both in harbor and at sea, beaches, parade grounds, aircraft hangars, and parks.
The naval community will actively participate in ‘Yoga Maha Kumbh’ activities, utilizing the Namaste Yoga app and attending virtual yoga sessions organized by the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga.
In addition to the yoga sessions, quizzes, poster making competitions, drawing competitions, and lectures by experts are also scheduled as part of the event.
Yogandhra-2025 showcases the Indian Navy’s commitment to promoting health and wellness while embracing the ancient practice of yoga.
