**Carbon County, UT – June 11, 2025** – The Carbon County Fair, held from June 5th to June 7th, wrapped up another year of fun, entertainment, and community celebration at the Carbon County Fairgrounds. From stunning quilt displays to high-flying RC plane demonstrations, the fair offered a diverse range of activities that captivated residents and visitors alike.

The Castle Country Quilters showcased their artistic prowess at the Carbon County Event Center, wowing attendees with intricate designs and vibrant colors. “They are painters of fabric,” exclaimed Patty Wilcox, highlighting the dedication and artistry involved in creating these impressive quilts.

In the same building, Utah State University Extension’s Open Class and 4-H projects were on display. The youth program encourages students to engage in topics ranging from agriculture to STEM and citizenship. Projects the 4-H students accomplished throughout the year were on display for fair attendees to see.

Outside, children enjoyed a dedicated “Kid’s Corner” filled with games, face painting, and a scavenger hunt, all topped off with fluffy cotton candy. Vendor booths and food trucks offered everything from refreshing lemonade to unique crafts and even kittens seeking new homes, courtesy of Emery Cat Rescue.

The indoor arena transformed into a lively farmyard, complete with mooing cows, bleating goats, and crowing roosters. Children delighted in feeding the animals and even had the chance to win free chicks in a raffle.

Meanwhile, at the remote-control airport runway, the Desert Wings RC club put on a spectacular aerial show. Kris Verron, Safety Officer for the club, and fellow enthusiasts demonstrated impressive flips, tricks, and maneuvers, welcoming newcomers to learn about their hobby.

In addition to these highlights, the fair featured a burnout competition, rodeos, a Battle of the Bands, an auto show, coal shoveling competition, and old-fashioned eating contests, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The 2025 Carbon County Fair proved to be a resounding success, leaving attendees with memories of sunshine, local food, and good times.
