**Real Madrid Star Jude Bellingham Set for Shoulder Surgery After Club World Cup, Facing 12-Week Sideline**

**Madrid, Spain – June 6, 2024** – Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham is reportedly scheduled to undergo surgery on his troublesome left shoulder following the conclusion of the 2025 Club World Cup. Sources close to the club have confirmed that the English international will likely be sidelined for approximately 12 weeks while he recovers, potentially causing him to miss the start of the 2025-26 La Liga season.

Bellingham, 21, initially dislocated his shoulder during a match against Rayo Vallecano in November 2023. Despite finishing the game, he subsequently missed several matches and has since worn protective gear. The club has been aware of his shoulder issues, reportedly dating back to his time with Borussia Dortmund.

“The decision to delay surgery until after the Club World Cup was made to accommodate the demanding football calendar,” a source within Real Madrid stated. “We want Jude to be fully fit and avoid further dislocations, which necessitates the surgery.”

The surgery is planned to take place at the same clinic where several other Real Madrid players, including Ferland Mendy, Antonio Rudiger, and Eder Militao, have undergone successful operations.

Bellingham has been a key player for Real Madrid this season, making 51 appearances and contributing 14 goals and 14 assists. His absence will be felt as the team prepares for the upcoming season. Real Madrid is slated to participate in the inaugural Club World Cup from June 15 to July 13, where they will face Al Hilal, Pachuca, and Red Bull Salzburg in Group H.
