MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – Google is doubling down on its AI-powered note-taking assistant, NotebookLM, with the unveiling of “Video Overviews” at Google I/O 2025. The new feature allows users to transform complex documents, PDFs, images, and raw notes into easily digestible visual presentations.
NotebookLM, since its inception, has focused on aiding users in comprehending and interacting with intricate information. This visual enhancement builds upon existing capabilities, providing a more dynamic way to grasp topics and ideas.
The announcement follows the successful launch of “Audio Overviews,” a feature that generates AI-hosted podcasts based on user-uploaded materials like course readings and legal briefs.
