**Drone-Like Objects Spotted Over Kolkata, Investigation Underway**
**Kolkata, India – May 21, 2025** – Authorities are investigating reports of unidentified flying objects resembling drones sighted over Kolkata on Monday night. The objects were observed over key areas including Hastings, the Second Hooghly Bridge (Vidyasagar Setu), and Fort William, the army’s Eastern Command headquarters, before disappearing over the Park Circus area.
Personnel at the Hastings Police Station initially reported the sightings. According to reports, the drone-like objects appeared to originate from the Maheshtala area in South 24 Parganas district.
