Tue May 20 15:10:00 UTC 2025: **Rajasthan Royals’ Yudhvir Singh Charak Experiences Rollercoaster Game Against CSK**

**Delhi, May 20** – Rajasthan Royals (RR) seamer Yudhvir Singh Charak had a day of contrasting fortunes in his team’s match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. In a game between two teams already out of playoff contention, the RR bowler produced a mixed bag of brilliance and costly errors.

Charak, playing his fourth game of the season, made an immediate impact in his opening over. He struck twice in three balls, removing both Devon Conway and the dangerous Urvil Patel to leave CSK struggling at 20/2. Conway was caught at mid-off, while Patel handed a simple catch to mid-on.

However, the young bowler’s fortunes quickly reversed in his next over. After a relatively steady start, R Ashwin found the boundary with a fine leg glance, followed by a six over the leg-side fence. A subsequent no-ball from Charak was ruthlessly punished by Ayush Mhatre, who dispatched it for a six over long-on. He finished the over with a four, resulting in a 24-run over that shifted momentum firmly in CSK’s favor.

Charak returned later in the innings to redeem himself somewhat, dismissing Ravindra Jadeja with a catch at short mid-wicket. This marked his first three-wicket haul in an IPL match, salvaging what had threatened to be a disastrous outing.
