**Kansas City, MO** – Gadi Kinda, former midfielder for Sporting Kansas City, has passed away at the age of 31, his club Maccabi Haifa announced on Tuesday. Kinda had been hospitalized in recent weeks, battling a complex medical condition.

Maccabi Haifa released a statement expressing their grief: “Maccabi Haifa Football Club mourns the death of the team’s player, Gadi Raphael Kinda, who passed away at the age of 31. The Maccabi Haifa family hugs the Kinda family and prays that they will not know any more sorrow.”

Kinda spent four seasons with Sporting KC from 2020 to 2023, making a significant impact with 14 goals and 16 assists in 64 regular-season games. Born in Ethiopia and raised in Israel, Kinda also represented his country internationally, earning 10 caps for Israel.
